October 9th, 2016 marks the 4 year anniversary of Zedd’s first album ever, “Clarity,” an album which shot to the top of charts everywhere. The album’s first single, “Spectrum” ft. Mathew Koma spread around the world like wild fire and I think I speak for all of us when I say Zedd hasn’t let us down since.
One of the most recognized and idolized musicians internationally in electro house and pop music, Zedd has come a long way and is continuously climbing. Following “Clarity’s” debut, Zedd released several EP’s featuring remixes of his most popular tracks. Before releasing his 2nd album, always working with the best of the best, he graced us with tracks “Stay The Night” ft. Hayley Williams, “I Want You To Know” ft. Selena Gomez, “Find You” ft. Mathew Koma and Miriam Bryant, and many more. His second album, “True Colors” didn’t come out until May 18th, 2015 but again as we all know, it was worth the wait.
Though Zedd has released countless hits, each radiating his happy spirit and untouchable talent, it is always important to return back to our roots and remember why we fell in love with the artist in the first place. The album “Clarity” included completely eclectic tracks each speaking to fans everywhere. In every track Zedd perfectly matched the vocals of talented singers with his electronic-house sound resulting in a euphoric state when listening to it. The first album an artist releases tells a lot about their style of music and the message they want to portray and while “Clarity” set the bar high, Zedd has yet to let us down and I doubt he ever will. The album shows the world Zedd’s passion in every song and with it he entered the music industry hitting the ground running. With that, I encourage you to celebrate the birthday of “Clarity” and get yourself ready and join us for his next visit to Arizona for Decadence NYE 2016.
