YetepSandra Collins has been a staple within the electronic music community and has paved the way for female DJs in a male dominated industry. She started her long career playing Las Vegas desert parties during the early 90s. Collins aims to bring deep emotion to her songs. She has a unique sound that blends European techno and an American style that caught the attention of many, and by the late 90s, she had become one of the first females to make it big within the scene. She’s worked with some of the bests and played at some of the coolest places around the world.
She was featured in the popular Tranceport series. She’s sold hundred of thousands of albums and is one of only a few females to make it onto the DJ Mag Top 100 list. Her third mix-album, Cream, released in 2001 solidified her status as an international DJ, and at the 2003 US Dancestar Awards, Sandra Collins beat nine men in this to pick up Best DJ. In 2013 the documentary “Girl” premiered; a film that followed Sandra and her life as a female DJ who continues to break barriers.

If you haven’t checked out Bar Smith yet this is the perfect opportunity to do so. You won’t be disappointed with this rooftop bar right in the heart of downtown. Spend your Thanksgiving-eve with Sandra Collins, Turner & Heit, and Dan Lunsford. Get tickets here!
