YetepThere’s tons of house and future house artists out there today, but one that shines amongst the rest is Shaun Frank. Shaun got his start in the electronic music scene in 2012 when he began collaborating with artists like Arty, Nicky Romero, Dyro, Lush & Simon, and 3LAU. It didn’t take long for these collaborations to skyrocket into the charts, leading to more requests for Shaun to participate in projects for Dim Mak, Armada, EMI Music, Universal, Parlophone and many more.
Some of Shaun’s most famous tracks include “Unbreakable” which he recorded with Spanish DJ/producer Marien Baker, “Shades Of Grey” with Oliver Heldens, and his collaboration with DVBBS, “La La Land.” He’s clearly a sought out collaborator, but dominates with his own tracks as well like “Let You Get Away” feat. Ashe, “Jonezin,” and “Mind Made Up” to name a few.
As for his sound, Shaun Frank delivers his own brand of house music. He told youredm in an interview “I don’t really love the term “future house.” My stuff is technically future house because it’s a more modern-sounding spin on house music… So I guess you could call it future house.”
He also told pollstar that “My focus has always been writing memorable melodies, timeless lyrics and putting as much energy and passion as I can behind the production.”
Shaun’s passion definitely shines through in his music, and the best and most successful artists are the ones who maintain a true passion for what they do. Shaun Frank will be joining Above & Beyond, Keys N Krates, Alesso and many more at Phoenix Lights in April of 2017, and you won’t want to miss it.
