We’re Up All Night With Galantis’ Latest, “Pillow Fight”

Swedish duo Galantis, consisting of Christian Karlsson and Linus Eklöw, are ending a very busy 2016 on a high note. Since releasing their debut album Pharmacy last year they’ve skyrocketed to fame and released four more singles just this year. They’re known for their pop-infused tunes with upbeat melodies and catchy lyrics. Their latest single, “Pillow Fight”, is no exception.

Admittingly, this song starts a bit softer than most of their tracks, but when the beat drops you won’t be able to stop moving. It’s a song about pillow talks becoming pillow fights, and never going to bed angry. The accompanying video is a lyric video with their usual colorful flair. They mix behind the scenes footage with bright animations that make this more than your typical lyric video. It’s also the first time they’ve ever appeared in their own music video.

With the release, Galantis said, “In lots of ways “Pillow Fight” brings back the original Galantis heart and roots, and reminds us why we started this project.
