YetepFor this weeks edition of Spin It Back Saturday, I’ll be featuring some old school Zeds Dead. The Canadian duo has come so far since their start in 2009, and although their current music is still amazing, I think that their old stuff is the best of the best.
ZD’s sound has evolved immensely over the years as they have begun to incorporate elements of future bass into their tracks, but they’ll never stray from their signature grimy dub snares that make them who they are. Some of their first productions showcase this best such as ‘In The Beginning,’ ‘Rude Boy,’ and ‘Coffee Break.’
Coffee Break is definitely one of the bigger tracks of Zeds Dead’s career featured on their first album with Omar Linx, and is a staple for any Zeds Dead lover’s playlist. “Coffee Break” is one of those songs that you can listen to over and over again and never get tired of, trust me, I know from experience.
Zeds Dead will be making their return to Phoenix Lights Festival coming up in April, and judging by their set there two years ago, you won’t want to miss it. And who knows, maybe they’ll play Coffee Break for us.
