DJ To Watch: Big Z

Zach Caraher (Big Z) is making big moves in EDM and he’s without a doubt an artist you need to put on your radar. I was first introduced to his “Heaven House” sounds last summer when one of his originals, “Fading” popped up on my SoundCloud feed. That song was my Summer of 16’ pre-game go-to and poolside jam. His pop-infused beats are happy, melodic tracks.  For my Big Z virgins, I would describe his sounds as a cross between DVBBS and Kygo; he’s tropical, he’s vibey and his music is downright catchy. His latest remix of Clean Bandit’s “Symphony” is some of his best work yet. This week’s DJ to Watch is the perfect hype music to send you into the Friday feels.

With only 15k followers and little live show experience, he has had some impressive accomplishments in his career so far. His track “Fool For You” hit 1 million plays in under a year on Spotify which is a stellar success for this up and comer! He also has 14 remixes and 7 originals for exploring fans to view. Things are heating up for Big Z and I am confident he is going to blow up in the next couple of years in a big way.
