NEST HQ Releases New Peking Duk Mix

NEST HQ recently released a new hour mix featuring Peking Duk and it is the best mix I have heard in a while. Peking Duk is composed of the pair straight out of Australia, Adam Hyde and Reuben Styles, that have been making original songs that will have you singing and dancing along every time. Their song “High” was released 3 years ago and went triple platinum with 4.4M plays on Soundcloud, winning them and ARIA Award in 2014 for Best Dance Release.

In a recent interview with NEST HQ, the duo was quoted saying, “We simply love all forms of music. Whether it’s blues, funk, rock, or hip hop it doesn’t matter we just love good music.” Which explains why this mix features a little bit of everything–from Valentino Khan to Daft Punk to the Beastie Boys. Peking Duk’s guest mix was so special because of it’s variety. Rather than playing tracks that are trending, they sampled songs from different generations and styles. This hour long mix really stuck out to me and I can’t wait to hear all of the new music PD intends to put out this coming year.
