YetepBig Wild, born Jackson Stell, is a mastermind producer, releasing one hit after another. Earlier this year the California based DJ released his Invincible EP and started touring the country, bringing his live show to the masses and being met with great approval. If you’ve caught any of his shows you may have heard an unreleased version of his newest release, “Show Me” with Hundred Waters, but now it’s here in all its full glory. The track started as a remix but turned into an official collaboration with Hundred Waters, clearly getting a stamp of approval from the original artist. Listen to the track below.
The original track is such a high quality, pure tune, that it can be hard to live up to expectations. Big Wild’s renditions of “Show Me Love” is a mellow and vibrant undertaking that allows Hundred Waters’ vocalist, Nicole Miglis, to lead the way. The track represents everything we know and love about Big Wild’s unique sound design, with its atmospheric tone and its sporadic musical structure. “After trying a bunch of different ideas, I finally composed the one you’re hearing, and I knew it was the one,” explained Big Wild with the release. The lyrics, after all, spoke to him so deeply that he felt called to mix the track.
Big Wild is joining a massive New Year’s lineup at this year’s Decadence Arizona. Find the full lineup, get more info, and grab your tickets here.
