YetepDr. Fresch is no stranger to putting others on. His ‘Da Prescription’ series featured a 30 -minute mix by him and another by a guest DJ. He’s featured Louis the Child, Bijou, Wuki, and Jace Mek among notable others. This time though, it’s James Van.. Diplo tossing the alley-oop to another DJ as he turns over the tables to Dr. Fresch. The doctor delivers a prescription filled bottle of G-House, Bassline House, and Electro to fill headphones and speakers with the neck-breaking goodness.
Dr. Fresch made his BBC/1xtra Radio Diplo & Friends with a mix filled with of his own tracks as well as collaborations with Wuki and Bijou. He also showed his versatility dropping tracks from Ice Cube to Skrillex, A$AP Ferg to AC Slater to Destructo. For those dig-digging scavenger hunters, there are also numerous ID tracks, which Dr. Fresch has not named, at least on the twitter thread with the track listing.
It’s around the 12-minute mark when he drops the unnamed collab with Wuki, which he then mixes into “Boom Bangin” (Badjokes Remix) by Krafty Kuts & Dynamite MC that the mix grabs the soul from the chest. Then, cause he’s nowhere close to be finished, he deftly throws in AC Slater featuring Tchami and Rome Fortune – “Dealer.” “The Hood,”with its hints of G-House and Bass house, close out the nice 5 minute run before he jumps into another block of beats.
The rest of the mix is no joke. You can download it on Dr. Fresch’s Soundcloud. If you like what you hear, go check Dr. Fresch in the mix on December 1 at Shady Park.
