In 2013, Stooki Sound and Mr. Carmack teamed up to initiate a new trend in the scene. At the time, they were producing some of the freshest sounds in trap music, and they paved the way for many within the genre. Honestly, we can’t believe it’s been almost five years since the release of “Uppers” off Hot Damn Vol. 1. Is time really going by that fast?

After its release, the song was basically set on repeat. Trap music was definitely on the rise, and you would hear the tune squeezed into festival performances from many. As of today, “Uppers” still bangs as if you’re hearing it for the first time as the elements these two bring to the table are still better than ever.
