YetepYou might know Mercer from his Pardon My French collective created back in 2015 with fellow French DJs Tchami, Malaa, and DJ Snake. The group toured in 2016 and with limited international dates in 2017. Similar to his French counterparts, the 34-year-old Mercer knows his way around the Future House genre. Since his emergence onto the scene back in 2010, he’s produced a wide range of successful music through various outputs, including Tchami’s Confession Label, Spinnin’ Records, Mad Decent, and more.
This week’s installment of Watch it Wednesday features Mercer’s new music video for “Satisfy.” Check it out below.
Mercer – Satisfy ft. Ron Carroll
The video features two uniform-clad schoolgirls running all over town in an attempt to organize a dance party. They can be seen hauling speakers around the city in every which way possible – on foot, on bike, via cars, and even via boat. They distribute and post flyers wherever an opportunity arises. Finally, come the much-anticipated dance party, nobody shows, but that doesn’t stop them from tearing up the dance floor themselves to Mercer’s “Satisfy” mix.
A perfect accompaniment to a track that was already fun and energetic, this video provides a light-hearted and entertaining visual to Mercer’s single.
You can catch Mercer at Talking Stick Resort on Saturday, July 7 along with Diplo for a Release Pool Party. Grab your tickets here.
