YetepIn the 4 years that FATHERDUDE has been dabbling in genres, we’ve seen find himself amongst a myriad of BPMs and vibes. Collaborations with Troyboi, Slumberjack, and San Holo found him proving sultry lyrics on trap, pop, and future bass feels. In his debut EP The Balance, released in 2016, we really saw FATHERDUDE come into his own with finding his sound and sticking to it. The EP is a 5 track showcase of his musical talents.
More recent days have seen him ‘modify’ Chance The Rapper and Childish on tracks like “Same Drugs and “Redbone.” His work is smooth and sultry whether he’s changing the beat or laying down bars on originals like his “Let Me Live” and “Eyes On You.” Truly, FATHERDUDE is poetic songstress who gives electronic music a beautiful voice. Today’s DJ to Watch is much more than a DJ, check his work below.
This summer he announced that he is joining Brasstracks on his month tour this September through the U.S. Making a pit stop to catch some shade in Tempe, these two will be shaking down Shady Park on September 21st. Don’t miss the opportunity to see his rising star-grab your tickets here.
