Spotify Releases 2018 Year in Music Lists

The music streaming platform Spotify has taken over the world since its launch back in 2018. The platform now boasts 83 million paying subscribers worldwide, which is really quite understandable considering the ability to have unlimited music at your fingertips for less than 15 bucks a month.

The music platform just released their annual Year in Music for 2018, including top artists, songs, albums, and more. The results are much different than what appeared for 2017, but such is the evolution of musical tastes.

Top artists in the US included Drake, Post Malone, XXXTENTACION, Travis Scott, and Khalid. Drake earned the spot of most-streamed artist globally, while Cardi B, Ariana Grande, Dua Lipa, Taylor Swift, and Camila Cabello made it to the top 5 most-streamed female artists. The list even included podcast listings, with Fest & Flauschig at the top of the list and Amy Schumer and TALK-O-MAT bringing in the rear.
