YetepIf you got a chance to see San Holo live at this year’s Decadence AZ, or on any festival lineup within the last two years, chances are your life is now totally changed. The Dutch DJ, born Sander Van Dijck, puts on an amazing live show, combining his original productions with live instruments. He studied music production and guitar at Codarts, a music and arts school in the Netherlands, and began his career in music teaching children to play guitar. After years of working with bands and ghost producing for DJs, his production starting gaining some recognition and success, which led to his career as San Holo.
For this week’s Spin it Back Saturday, let’s head back to 2014 with one of San Holo’s earliest, “Fly.” Check it out below.
“Fly” makes an appearance on San Holo’s first EP, Cosmos, released in September of 2014, via Heroic Recordings. Since 2014, San Holo has released on big-name labels like Spinnin’ Records, OWSLA, and Monstercat, and even founded his own label, Bitbird, which has released many of his biggest singles to date.
