YetepRay Volpe (pronounced Volp-ee) recently dropped his first single of 2019, and it’s set the bar high for the rest of this year. The single, titled “Body Drop,” is just as energetic, bass heavy, and complex as his previous hits such as “Sell Out” and “Wet Napkin.” Already, the song has more than 22,000 listens on Soundcloud and fans are begging Volpe to continue this harder-style dubstep.
When he was only 12 years old, Ray Volpe started producing music. At age 19, he dropped out of high school to devote himself fully to his music. Now, at age 21, his hard work is paying off. Performing alongside the very artists that inspired him, Ray Volpe has distinguished himself with his melodic, yet explosive sounds.
“Body Drop” proves that Ray Volpe is a genius when it comes to dubstep. He can produce music like “Programmed to Love” which tend to be more emotional and melodic. But, he can also produce music that is more traditional hardstyle dubstep like “Body Drop”. Fans love his dynamic approach to music and the good news is that he doesn’t plan on slowing down anytime soon. Rumor has it that a Ray Volpe EP is underway and if it’s anything close to “Body Drop”, then we are in for a treat.
