YetepTech House producers Will Clarke and Eli Brown have teamed up for this week’s Relentless Beat of the Week, an entrancing, funky tune entitled “Our Love.” The single was released a few days ahead of the two-track EP with the same name, and an additional collaboration, “Stay.” Released on Adam Beyer’s Drumcode sub-label Truesoul Records, the EP has already been receiving considerable attention from some big names in both House and Techno. Clarke has been teasing “Our Love” in club and festival performances as far back as CRSSD Fest last year, so this release has built up a lot of anticipation.
Hit play to check out the EP below.
The duo has taken a more Techno-heavy approach with this EP, but still incorporate House dynamics. “Our Love” features a slow, seductive buildup and acidic stabs, showcasing the essence of club culture. “Stay” is equally energetic, offering distorted vocals and dizzying synth effects.
Be sure to catch Will Clarke alongside Benny Benassi, RL Grime, and What So Not at this year’s Wet Electric, taking place April 27 at Big Surf in Tempe. Click here to see the full lineup and purchase tickets!
