YetepAward-winning DJ and producer San Holo just released his first track of the year, a deeply personal and emotive song entitled “Lead Me Back.” The single is also the first off bitbird’s Gouldian Finch 3 compilation album, expected out sometime this year.
Check out “Lead Me Back” below.
One of San Holo’s most personal tracks to date, “Lead Me Back” demonstrates the artist’s versatility and skill on vocals and acoustic guitar. The result is a raw, heartfelt track with elements of indie/alternative.
He said about the single, “‘Lead Me Back’ is a very simple song about growing apart and longing to go back to the days when that wasn’t the case yet, and the internal struggle of why that keeps happening to everyone I’ve been with. I thought about not releasing the song at all because it’s a very personal song, with me singing and playing the guitar so I literally feel like I’m naked.”
You can catch San Holo at Phoenix Lights this coming April alongside Kaskade, Excision, Party Favor, and many more. Click here to see the full lineup and purchase tickets. If you can’t make the festival, you’ll get your chance that same weekend, as he’ll also be in Flagstaff on April 7 at the Orpheum Theatre.
