YetepWe first met Chaz Treharne, better known as, Midoca back in 2015 in what seems to be have been the boom of new artists flowing through our SoundCloud feeds. His debut releases “Don’t Leave” and “Gott Go,” rolled in back to back days which ultimately came together to be his debut 2-track EP. It was a bold move with a bold sound and it stopped listeners right in their scrolls due to his unique and cutting edge melodic Future Bass.
Fast forward to just a year later and he was already ready to put out the second EP titled, Everything I Need. This one turns up the future bass feels. Gaining massive recognition, Midoca found himself and his various sounds featured on Next HQ, Run The Trap, and Too Future. The successes only began there. He can be now found jetting all over the U.S. with noted artists like Getter and Jai Wolf.
Most recent moves we’ve seen made by Midoca are yet another EP called Beautiful Stroy, Ugly Life. With its release date coming in just over 3 months- this fresh piece of work isn’t complete without a listen from you. Check it out below.
It’s not often we find a DJ to Watch with such an impressive resume and SoundCloud. Midoca is truly one to keep an eye on because he will not stay low key for long. Take the chance to check him out as he brings the support yo Jai Wolf at the Van Buuren on May 30. Grab your tickets here.
