‘Gerald’s World’ Will Come to Life Thanks to Dillon Francis

Sure, we talk about producers a lot here at Relentless Beats, but what about a (sort of) imaginary friend belonging to one of the biggest DJs in the world? To be clear, the imaginary friend is a piñata and is also, from what we hear, getting a television show through a gigantic production studio. This is 2019, ya’ll. This kind of venture is what the perfectly absurd life of Dillon Francis, superstar DJ and best friend to stuffed piñata Gerald, has brought to the table. According to reports, 20th Century Fox has agreed to begin production on an animated series that focuses on the piñata, with Francis and Family Guy‘s Spencer Porter being the brains of it all as executive producers. Gerald’s World will give us a glimpse on just what goes on in the crazy life of a piñata, and all the adventures that entails. To some, this may seem a little out of left field, however Francis has expanded his talents immensely over the years. On top of being one of the most noticeable and hilarious DJs in the world due to his incredible music and strong social media presence, Francis has also immersed himself into the video production side of things already. Having previously appeared in Viceland’s What Would Diplo Do? and countless other shorts and skits, he is no newcomer to the content creating world. GERALDS 1ST BIRTHDAY

It’s quite obvious that no matter how crazy or out there Francis’ antics may be, they are hilarious and they work. He has slowly emerged as a jack-of-all-trades kind of guy, and this next step just proves that. Although Francis steps aside to give the spotlight to Gerald in his newest project, it’s proven that his music producing skills are just the tip of the iceberg, and we cannot wait for the show to premiere.
