Relentless Beat of the Week: Monxx – ‘Wonk Train’

Feels like a good day to throw a little wonk on this week’s Relentless Beat of the Week. Coming at you hot, were expressing caution (and the ability to hear at age of 30) and getting deep in the wonk with Monxx‘s latest release, “Wonk Train.” As his first release since World of Wonk album, we were expecting bigs things and boy did he deliver.

Maybe it’s because we hear this as the main sample in the song, but we really are beginning to believe Josh Carling, aka Monxx, truly is the “wonkiest man alive.” In perfect Monxx fashion, he teases your ear cavity with light and inviting synths that build up into mayhem monster of a wonk wonderland.
