Earlier this year, 21-year-old rapper, singer, and songwriter Lil Skies dropped his debut album Shelby without warning. Not many of us were prepared for the 14-track project with standout tracks like “i” and  “Nowadays Pt. 2” still on shuffle. He’s continued to surprise us ever since with singles like “Magic,” “Going Off,” and for his very latest, “More Money More Ice.” Hit play below to see what you think.

The young artist stands out from the current bevy of rappers with his smooth lyrical delivery of thought-provoking lines like, “ain’t running from my problems / I’ma face em I promise.” Lil Skies is quickly becoming one of the most promising acts in modern rap music.
