YetepEarlier this month, Lunice and Hudson Mohawke stopped by BBC Radio 1 to share their new essentials mix. It featured multiple unreleased tracks from TNGHT, JPEGMAFIA, Girl Unit, Denzel Curry, and more.
The mix is two hours long and serves not a single dull second throughout the whole mix. It evidently portrays the key sound of trap music, even more essentially- a UK trap music sound, while still having those unique TNGHT notes within and throughout the entire piece of work. It was just last month that TNGHT broke their 6 year hiatus by releasing their single “Serpent,” which you can hear them close out their Essentials mix with. Due to all of the unreleased songs featured in this mix, new titled tracks from TNGHT was clearly prefigured by the artists themselves.
Lunice and Hudson were loud and clear in letting their fans know that they are just getting started (again) and fans can expect to build their archive of iconic TNGHT releases gradually in the near future.
