YetepFounded in 2011, Kannibalen Records is an electronic label of diversity created by eccentric bass trio Black Tiger Sex Machine. Their gritty drum and synth-heavy bass thrives on the platform Kannibalen Records offers them, while even still providing a space for artists of like minds to have their music promoted. Another avenue for this is the accompanying radio show Kannibalen Records, hosted by Lektrique. While BTSM is infamous for their dark, heavy sound, Kannibalen Radio showcases so much more than that. Listen to episode 160 below for this week’s Radio Recap.
This episode is robust with high-energy mixes from the show’s host Lektrique and special guest ATRIP, the latter of whom exclusively presents his original music. House and dubstep bangers alike are sprinkled through the entire episode, giving both an opportunity for ATRIP to mix and show what he’s got as well as a sneak peek at what Kannibalen Records releases from the label.
BTSM will be bringing this energy to their church on their Futuristic Thriller tour in Tucson, Flagstaff, and Phoenix. Tickets for the Rialto Theatre show on February 6th are here, the Orpheum Theater show on February 7th here, and The Van Buren on February 8th here.
