YetepLast spring, English producer and sound designer Eddie Jefferys, better known by his stage name Moody Good, released his second EP, Goofball via Never Say Die Records. The EP featured four bangers full of intense basslines and heavy production sure to elicit the nastiest of bass faces. Amidst the wild wubs and dubstep, Moody Good leaves his clear and unique influences on the distorted symphonies, and creates music well-worth vibing and raging to. To make things even more exciting, he just released Goofball EP: Repackaged, featuring epic remixes by heavy hitters and industry favorites Kill the Noise, Kompany, Tynan, and Ookay. Listen to the new remix EP below!
With an array of extremely talented artists taking on the challenge, the results are mind-blowing. Kill the Noise hits the ground running with what is said to be one of his most diverse mixes to date, taking Moody Good’s track “SIXTYSIXTY” and transforming it into a dark, gritty, and mind-bending banger. Kompany follows this up with his own distorted mix of creative soundscapes and high energy, destroying your mind with intermittent bass and wobbles on his take of “Squeeky Clean.” The next part of the journey is spearheaded by Tynan, who artfully takes on “ANTI-ACID” and remasters the song into a rowdy, groovy, and wildly electrifying onslaught of bass. Finally, Ookay takes our senses on a ride with his remix of “Jimmytics,” where he ups the fun, the weirdness, and the vibes by adding in his own signature flares.
To add another cherry on top, one of the producers featured on the remix EP will be heading to Arizona very soon! Electronic artist Tynan will be playing Crush Arizona on Valentine’s Day, sharing the stage with other icons in the scene such as Jauz and Habstrakt! You don’t want to miss this epic celebration! See more info, view the full lineup, and purchase tickets here while they last! See you there!
