YetepLeading up to the release of Porter Robinson‘s forthcoming album Nurture, he has dropped a new single for fans titled “Something Comforting”. This is his second single of the year following the release of “Get Your Wish”. It’s a soothing song filled with several alterations of Porter’s voice used as vocals throughout the track. Via video on Twitter, Porter opened up to his fans disclosing that he started this track at his “absolute low point” creatively in 2015 and latched on to the instrumental hook. He didn’t end up finishing “Something Comforting” until almost five years later and he wouldn’t go on to finish a single song for Nurture for until at least another three years passed. Although there are no upcoming tour dates currently, be sure to keep an eye out for updates alongside the release of his new album.
