YetepVolpetron has ascended and Fliptron has arrived! This week’s Remix Recall is dedicated to the king himself, sir Ray Volpe. Get ready to take a sigh of relief because he has just dropped his highly-anticipated flip of RL Grime’s iconic track “Core” from 2014. We first heard Volpe’s massive flip of the track at this year’s Bass Canyon and we’ve all been held in suspense ever since. Check out the live edit below:
BANGER ALERT. Even though the track is just over two minutes long it has enough energy to last a lifetime. It gets the people going! Volpe took RL Grime’s bass masterpiece to the next level bringing in a gnarly dubstep drop and some much appreciated grime.
Ray Volpe has always been known for his seamless blend of melodic, heavy, & emo nostalgia bass-centered music. His creativity continues to be unmatched and the transformation on this track is downright ridiculous. You never know what’s next when it comes to the Volpetron but we’re always ready for some more.
