Moon Boots and Black Gatsby Reunite on ‘Hot Minute’

Spinning us into the stratosphere with his dreamy disco beats and psychedelic synths is Moon Boots, a producer and DJ whose mission is to keep us smiling on the dancefloor. Equipped with a prismatic catalogue, Moon Boots’ ability to float between the sounds of house, soul, and disco is unmatched. His most recent musical endeavor, “Hot Minute,” reunites him with the powerful vocals of longtime collaborator Black Gatsby. “Hot Minute” features cheeky vocal hooks and soulful breakdowns sung by Black Gatsby, while vibrant synths and an infectious house beat create the foundation for this deliriously uplifting tune.

In addition to releasing the single, Moon Boots also announced his third album, Ride Away, expected in January 2023. Written and produced over a period of time alternating between joy and uncertainty, Ride Away explores themes of love and human connection. Moon Boots’ third album is expected to be saturated with his career-defining blend of soul, disco, and house while introducing synthpop, breakbeats, and psychedelica to his sound palette.
