YetepIt’s been a sizzling year for SOSA, one of the rising producer’s from across the pond. The Liverpool-based producer/DJ has been busy perfecting his distinct sound of groove-based tech house; his latest release sees him teaming up with fellow British production duo Prok & Fitch. The final product of the three creative minds is a 3-track EP, titled Dance Lapse.
Opening up Dance Lapse is its title track with a delectably smooth minimal vibe. Stripped-back percussive elements weave together sultry vocals and subtle trills to create a soundscape that transports you to a moment in time, when the dancefloor is embraced by the golden hues of the sun peeking over the horizon. Whereas “Dance Lapse” finds itself on the tail end of late nights, “Sweat” dials up the heat with a low-slung bassline and steamy vocals. Aptly named, the track transports you to a dense dancefloor. Meanwhile, “Footsteps In The Dark” is the climax of the night, perfect for peak-time club hours with its rolling bassline, rippling synths, and jittering vocal chops.
Check it out below!
SOSA will be making his Tempe debut with his distinct grooves at Darkstar on December 9th. Don’t miss out! For tickets, click here.
