YetepCha-ching! The anticipated collaboration is here and they have just struck the jackpot with their new track “Criminal” ft. Warrior Queen. The culprits Zeds Dead and Hamdi have blended their unique sounds and created an absolute mental track. “Criminal” ft. Warrior Queen is released under Zeds Dead’s record label, Deadbeats.
“Criminal” is composed of Hamdi’s specialty whirling basslines partnered with Zeds Dead’s deep wobbling style bass. The vibrant brain-tickling futuristic bass consumes your entire body and will leave you melting away, with Warrior Queen adding an extra punch to “Criminal” as she sings out the chorus. Her fiery and passionate vocals pair perfectly with the energy of this bouncy track. Island beats are mixed into the buzzing intricate twist and twirls of “Criminal.”
UK DJ and producer, Hamdi (or Alexander Hamdi) has been in the game for a while with an extensive versatile discography, but he had recently been put into the spotlight with his track “Skanka.” His one-of-a-kind spiraling dubstep tracks have gained the attention of artists like Skrillex and Zeds Dead. His genre-blending inspiration comes from global sounds and music that have made him such a sought out legendary artist. Zeds Dead (Dylan Mamid & Zachary Rapp-Rovan) have been on their grind as well, with multiple Deadbeats Presents headlining shows, exclusive merch, second label Altered States, their recent B2B with Chase & Status at EDC, and so much more. The Canadian duo have been at the top of their game with no chances of coming down anytime soon. Jamaican Musician, Warrior Queen (or Annette Henry), sings to an array of genres from reggae, dancehall, dubstep, other electronic music, etc. She has worked with OG dubstep artist, Skream, and has added her distinctive vocals on multiple bass heavy edm tracks.
Go give “Criminal” ft. Warrior Queen a listen and add this fire track to your playlists. Check out more from Zeds Dead, Hamdi, and Warrior Queen’s music down below. Also, Zeds Dead will be returning to AZ for Goldrush: Sonoran Skies this October at the Phoenix Raceway. You can get more info and purchase tickets here.
