YetepWhile I deeply appreciate various genres, bass music, where my EDM journey began, always holds a special place in my heart. Lately, I’ve been delving into house music, and stumbling upon house tracks that incorporate dubstep or space bass elements, beyond the typical heavy “bass house” tunes, has been a revelation. It’s a fusion of my love for bass and my newfound appreciation for house music, and I’m thrilled to share five of my favorite space bass house tracks to get you moving and grooving.
“Dreams (Plasma Reflex)” by Subtronics, Crooked Bangs
This track, from Subtronics’ latest album, captivated me with its seamless blend of house vibes and space bass elements. The mellow atmosphere, with cascading notes serving as the countermelody, gives it that almost chill, space bass vibe. The space bass elements shine through beautifully, and the production quality, as expected from Subtronics, is top-notch. A must-listen for Subtronics fans!
“505” by Tynan, Cyclops, Guilt Chip
Tynan and Cyclops, renowned for their creativity in bass music, collaborated on this infectious bop. It’s guaranteed to get you moving with its irresistible beats and energetic tempo. The space bass accents during the drop add a dynamic, spacey feel to the track, as if electronic bubbles are popping all around. Don’t miss out on this one!
“Wobble House” by Justin Jay
Justin Jay’s versatility spans across genres, resulting in intriguing hybrids like “Wobble House.” With a faster tempo reminiscent of UKG, this track features deep space bass sounds as the driving melody, infusing movement into the rhythmic pattern. The wild accents give the song depth and dimension, making it a must-listen for UKG enthusiasts.
“Wook House” by In Orbit Dubz
True to its name, “Wook House” caters to space bass fans, blending elements of the genre seamlessly into a house track. It’s a fun ride, with the drop packed full of space bass and dub elements, enhancing the melody and downbeats. This track is an absolute bop that will have you dancing without restraint.
“Weeble Wobble” by Eliminate
Eliminate’s prowess as a producer shines through in “Weeble Wobble,” with its intricate rhythms and technical brilliance. Despite being a calm house track, the complexity of the rhythm is striking. Sharp sounds form the backbone of the melody, with subtle accents adding layers of character. To truly appreciate Eliminate and this track, you have to experience it firsthand.
Give these tracks a listen with an open mind, and let the music take you on a journey through the captivating world of space bass house. Enjoy!
