YetepBritish electronic duo Disclosure is back with their long-awaited summer house track, “She’s Gone, Dance On.” The new single marks the duo’s first release of the year and is their follow up to their incredible studio album Alchemy, shared in July 2023.
With its flawless capture of that carefree, sun-kissed summer vibe, “She’s Gone, Dance On” is the definitive summer house track. It has an uplifting vibe that is bursting with golden rays of energy. It is also quite legendary in the fact that the release includes a sample from the 1978 hit “Dance On” by renowned Italian composer Ennio Morricone that featured in the movie Così Come Se.
The duo first began working on “She’s Gone, Dance On” back in 2017 and gradually started to debut it over the past year. They had initially intended for it to be a party track for their DJ buddies and the clubs, but a few months before the formal release, the dance anthem became so viral that they set out to have the sample legally cleared. It became obvious that the rest of the world needed “She’s Gone, Dance On” after Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift were spotted dancing to it during Dom Dolla’s Coachella set this year.
