Relentless Beats

Behold Your Bass DJs for Goldrush: Wild Card 2024

Goldrush: Wild Card is almost here, and as one of Arizona’s biggest electronic music festivals of the year, we are all eagerly awaiting its start. Goldrush is an electronic music fan’s heaven, with huge stages, incredible production, and always an incredibly stacked lineup. This year, Relentless Beats went crazy with the bass artists, and I am so excited to break down all of the bass artists from Phase 1 of the lineup. Don’t forget to get your stretches in before checking them out; your back will thank you later!

Slander

Slander headlines Goldrush 2024, and for good reason. The duo from Los Angeles has captivated millions with their combination of heaven trap, a genre they brought into the spotlight with songs like “Love is Gone” and “Love Again,” and heavy bass, creating sets with incredible range that will get you crying and headbanging. This is a must-see set!

Black Tiger Sex Machine

Coming in hot after their Decadence performance is the super group Black Tiger Sex Machine, otherwise known as BTSM. Their sound, while still on the dubstep side, is more industrial, using more piercing sounds to create the heaviness, with incredible flow and production to back it. They will be performing their Anime show, an audiovisual set inspired by their favorite Anime shows!

Deathpact

One of the biggest mysteries in bass music is Deathpact. Who is Deathpact? All signs point to them actually being a group of four artists, but everything else is unknown, which is intentional. Deathpact has made its mark on the bass industry by providing heavy tunes that are less “dance” music and more heavy experimental bass music, promising to surround you and take you to space!

Heyz

One of space bass’s rising stars, Heyz is a welcome addition to the Goldrush lineup. His style of space bass is heavy on the dubstep roots, creating thick textured layers throughout his tracks to take it to the next level. Heyz is on the rise and is a must-see at Goldrush!

Inzo b2b Mersiv

This b2b is arguably the hottest booking of the year so far, and this b2b premiere is going to shake the venue to the ground. Both artists are entering their prime, both having extreme momentum in the industry. Inzo is a future trap pioneer and has leaned more so into rhythm-focused space bass, while Mersiv is a master of elongated wave-like space bass. This b2b is like two titans colliding and cannot be missed!

OG Nixin

Sometimes you just want to forget everything and headbang all your worries away, and OG Nixin provides that for you. His songs are definitely on the heavy side, a hybrid of riddim and dubstep, and are perfect for losing yourself in the bass. Even though he is a smaller artist, his ability to create amazing, simple tracks translates extremely well to a live stage.

Ray Volpe

Another one of bass music’s rising stars graces Goldrush’s stage, and Ray Volpe has shown no signs of slowing down. Seemingly every recent release has gotten more and more views, and his songs are sticking in the widespread festival circuit. Ray Volpe has really found himself in the tearout dubstep niche and will rock your world when you see him at Goldrush!

Sullivan King

Sullivan King is just as his name implies: a king in the bass world. His ability to combine heavy metal with bass music is next to none; however, his creativity when it comes to production is rivaled only by a few. Sullivan King creates incredible works of art through his music, and his music will get you dancing, headbanging, crybanging, and more, all within a short time frame. If you are into any type of bass music, then this is a must-see set!

YDG

Last but not least, YDG has been on the rise and is one of the artists I am looking out for to see an extreme climb. YDG is an amazing producer and has released many SoundCloud edits and official releases that will rock your world. Lately, he has created these space bass dubstep hybrid drops, with long, full-sounding notes creating a buzz that takes people to space.
