YetepIt’s finally wallflower season! After nearly six years in the making, Chicago-born DJ and megaproducer Whethan has just released Life of a Wallflower, Vol. 2, the official follow-up to his renowned debut EP. Whethan returns with a brand-new, genre-bending production that is certain to ignite the scene once again. Check out Whethan’s Life of a Wallflower, Vol. 2 out now via Good Luck Have Fun.
Life of a Wallflower, Vol. 2 provides a collection of cross-genre collaborations featuring artists like Elley Duhé, Snakehips, AG Club, Nessa Barrett, SHY Martin, Flowdan, and MKLA. The seven-track project also offers a detailed look at Whethan’s evolution as a producer over the years. Along with six previously released singles like “Sick of Myself” with Nessa Barrett, Whethan introduces three fresh tracks: “CRAZY4U” featuring MKLA, “ENERGY” (my personal new fave), and “PLACE IN MY MIND” featuring SHY Martin. Each track is a testament to his prowess in blending elements of future bass, peak-time techno, electro-pop, and grime. Whethan’s versatility and artistry allow him to craft a deeply immersive listening experience that is full of dancefloor-ready hits.
Of the release, Whethan shared:
“I’ve had so much fun creating this project this past year and want to thank everyone who was involved in helping to bring it all together. We put so much into this album and we hope you enjoy it as much as we did making it. can’t wait to play these songs out all tour long.”

Coinciding with the album’s launch, Whethan kicks off the LOAW2 Tour this week, starting in Denver and making stops in San Francisco, Los Angeles, Washington DC, and his hometown of Chicago.
