YetepWho will claim the world’s No. 1 DJ spot this year? We’ll soon find out when one of the most anticipated nights in electronic music returns to AMF on October 19th! Held during the Amsterdam Dance Event (ADE) in the Netherlands, the Amsterdam Music Festival (AMF) is a prestigious electronic dance music event that will be hosting DJ Mag’s yearly Top 100 DJs awards show. After a three-year hiatus, AMF will be honoring the biggest names in dance music during the legendary Top 100 DJs awards show. The ceremony is set to broadcast live this year with performances by industry heavyweights including headliners Martin Garrix and Tiësto alongside stars like Maddix, Marlon Hoffstadt, Monocule (by Nicky Romero), Showtek, Tita Lau, and Wade.

Celebrating 30 years last year, the Top 100 DJs is the longest-standing and most influential benchmark for DJs and musicians across the globe. The Top 100 DJs awards offer an annual global snapshot of the dance music landscape, featuring everything from stadium-filling acts like David Guetta, Martin Garrix, Charlotte de Witte, Carl Cox, and Armin van Buuren to showcasing newer artists like 2023’s No. 1 House DJ Peggy Gou and Fred Again.., who won last year’s Highest New Entry Award. Being less than a month out from the awards ceremony, fans are curious to know whether reigning champions will hold onto their thrones or if a new wave of talent will rise to the top.
“After broadcasting the Top 100 DJs show on our own for two years, bringing fans epic performances from nine countries across five continents, we’re thrilled to take the climactic moment back to AMF in 2024,” DJ Mag’s Chief Operating Officer, Simon Kelly said. “We’re excited to see these two iconic events come together once again, and we can’t wait for 40,000 fans to experience the unveiling of the World’s No. 1 DJ live on the AMF stage.”
With millions of votes from fans worldwide, DJ Mag’s Top 100 DJs Awards recognizes the real-life superstars of the electronic music scene. The show will culminate next month at the live AMF stage at the Amsterdam Johan Cruijff ArenA, where the world’s top DJ will officially be revealed.
AMF is the largest event of the annual Amsterdam Dance Event (ADE), bringing together electronic dance music lovers from all around the world. Tickets to experience AMF, which includes the DJ MAG’s Annual Top 100 DJs awards show, are on sale through amf-festival.com.
