YetepBlue collar bass specialist TVBOO has been making a splash in the EDM scene with incredible releases and a successful podcast, TVLKS With TVBOO, featuring notable guests such as Liquid Stranger and GorillaT. TVBOO is a member of the WAKAAN family and has released numerous projects through the famed label, upping his craft and skills behind the decks.
TVBOO’s newest drop, Daisy Dukes & Cowboy Boots meshes numerous genres and inspirations together into one well-produced package. The title track (featuring Lil Skritt) is a hilarious country-inspired track with banjo notes and SUPERCHARGED bass. “HAVE YOU SEEN MY BOOTS?!” While “Ain’t No Thang” (featuring ProbCause and INZO) mixes reggae dub notes with intergalactic instrumentation and choppy wubs. Splatter effects dance in tow with classic dubstep instrumentals and ProbCause’s impressive flow. Lasers abound in this one, so prepare yourselves accordingly. “Funk Docta” (featuring ProbCause and Big Gigantic) is a wubby masterpiece with cavernous drops and BG’s trademark, jazzy saxophones. The middle section of this track is especially jazzy and leads into a dub-backed verse by ProbCause. Effortlessly morphing back into a SICK dubstep track, before concluding with the same jazzy overtones. SIMPLY INCREDIBLE.
In addition to releasing this amazing album, TVBOO has announced an accompanying tour, which is scheduled to stop at Tempe’s own Sunbar on November 29th, in a collaboration with Relentless Beats and Low End Lab. Shlump, smith., and MPORT are also set to make appearances. An all-star bass lineup that is sure to rock the house. Sunbar is an incredible venue located on the corner of Mill Avenue and Fifth street in Downtown Tempe, adjacent to the main ASU Campus. Sunbar Tempe features a massive dance floor, multiple bars, and a mister-covered patio area to help keep patrons cool on those warm Arizona nights. Forward-facing laser effects create a unique and eclectic vibe that heightens the live music experience.
Tickets for the Sunbar show can be purchased through HERE. Prices WILL GO UP as the show date draws closer, so be sure to buy your tickets ASAP to secure the best price possible. You do not want to miss this incredible lineup of bass masters and genre-benders. Daisy Dukes and Cowboy Boots are encouraged, but not required. See you there!
