YetepWonk legend Liquid Stranger continues to update his discography with consistent new releases and collaborations. His newest venture, “Dynamite” features fellow producer Sully and Sukuward on vocal duties. Two incredible artists who have made a name for themselves in the Bass and Dancehall music scenes respectively.
The track starts off with a BANG! An air raid alarm rings out over a wobbly bassline and a dancehall/reggae-inspired beat. Sukuward’s flow and vocals are specialized to fit these genres. Making this a dynamic infusion of genres. Cascading clicks, spirals, and a gradually changing drumbeat build hype and anticipation for what comes next. The alarms change into sirens as the instrumentals shoot into outer space. The first drop is teased, tricking the listener with one more vocal bar. Building up once again. The drums take on a slow DnB style. Dancing with webby synth lines that turn into fuzzy bass walls and shuffling laser beams. Sukuward continues to spit as the beat becomes even more danceable. Keeping up the feel and tempo of the first drop. A scream effect brings on extended layers of bass waves. “Dynamite” briefly slows down. Traveling through a Dancehall asteroid belt. The next drop features crashing drums and some serious tempo changes. Perfectly blending Dancehall, Reggae, and Bass Music. Fading out with a familiar melody and a tire screech effect.
“Bonfire, Bonfire. We keep it rocking and skankin.”
“Dynamite” is a perfect representation of Liquid Stranger’s versatility and ability to be a team-player in collaborations. Sully’s production contributions add a fine twist to the beat, while Sukuward’s vocals are chill and HYPE at the same time. This track is a perfect genre blend with no artist overshadowing the others. A perfect track for your next party or chilling by the pool. Matching the HEAT of the Phoenix summer.
