YetepIf you’ve been following the rise of electronic bass music lately, chances are you’ve already seen ZINGARA lighting up lineups all over the country. Known for her dreamy sound design, heavy drops, and otherworldly visuals, ZINGARA has been steadily carving out her own lane in the bass scene. She refuses to box herself into a single genre. She’s been trying everything from pretty, melodic build-ups to the newer, trippy sound of riddim, a kind of bass music that’s simple, super bassy, and built around a slow kick-snare beat with bouncy, wobbly sounds instead of the super complicated basslines you hear in regular dubstep.
Her latest track, “The Girls Are Making Riddim,” is the perfect showcase of that exploration. Teaming up with fellow producer Gardella, known for his gritty, high-energy style, and TikTok-famous Tweenkboosiechase, the trio delivers a playful yet absolutely filthy bass banger. Tweenkboosiechase’s quirky vocal chops set the tone before ZINGARA and Gardella unleash a series of relentless halftime drops, each one groovier and weirder than the last. The result is a nonstop bass jam that perfectly captures the energy of a late-night rail-riding crowd.
For us fans in AZ, this one hits even closer to home. Back in August 2025, ZINGARA teased this very track on TikTok, posting that she was in Arizona working on “a new collab.” We were lucky enough to be some of the first to hear it live when she dropped it at Sunday Funday Sunsequence in Phoenix, and the crowd went absolutely feral. You could feel everyone collectively lose it as the first riddim drop hit, that halftime kick-snare punching through the air while the sub-bass rattled the ground.
What makes “The Girls Are Making Riddim” so much fun is how unpredictable it is. Each drop feels like a little challenge, daring you to guess what comes next before throwing a curveball that sends the dancefloor into chaos. It’s bouncy, it’s gritty, it’s got that hypnotic riddim groove that keeps you locked in until the very end.

ZINGARA continues to prove that she’s one of the most exciting forces in bass music right now. With Gardella and Tweenkboosiechase joining her on this track, “The Girls Are Making Riddim,” and they’re making it their own.
