YetepSan Diego based producer Knock2 is a multitalented artist capable of crafting (and combining) various genres of EDM. Notable tracks like “Dashstar*,” “feel u love me,” and “dance or dead” show off a potent combination of bass house and trap that results in absolute BANGERS. This versatility makes Knock2 a force to be reckoned with. Songs like “select@” also blend together DnB and bass house with reggae inspired vocals for a soaring track. He is also known for his side project with ISOxo called ISOKNOCK. A collaboration equally as epic as the artists that make it up.
Knock2 is scheduled to play Night One of Decadence: The Portal of Illusions, which lands on December 30th. He will surely help get the fest off to a roaring start. Knock2 will be joining Adventure Club, Sara Landry, and Whethan (among others) for a night of epic proportions. Tickets for Decadence can be found HERE and are selling out FAST. Buy today to lock in your spot for a festival you will not forget.
“Make U SWEAT!” is my personal favorite Knock2 track and the PERFECT hype builder for his upcoming set. The song begins with echoing vocals and progressive synth and keyboard bars that expand into soaring, anthemic basslines. Subtle drums clap away as the bass morphs around them, bending to Knock2’s will. These drums rapidly build into the first drop: a heavy bass house shufflefest. The plampy drums do not let up as the bass launches us into orbit. Intense hihats dance with notes of tropical trap. A second drop is teased before the song (briefly) quiets down. The elements gradually return under buzzing basslines and supernova blasts. Vocals echo into spirals as we build to the next drop. This drop changes things up in the second half before fading out with the vocals.
Check out the awesome songs mentioned above and the rest of Knock2’s discography to get ready for his highly-anticipated set at Decadence: The Portal of Illusions.
