YetepTwo heavyweights in the realm of dubstep, HOL! and Eptic, return together to unleash their new collab track “MALFUNCTION.” The heart-dropping bass and electrified breakdowns collide in an electric soundscape that causes a system overload. “MALFUNCTION” is raw, reckless, and engineered to rattle speakers from the first drop to the last note. HOL!’s unrestrained hollowed out bass echoes into the layers of Eptic’s undeniable flair to cause pure chaos. “MALFUNCTION” is where technology meets dubstep in a clash of beats.
Both HOL! And Eptic are known for their iconic styles and when the two come together it is nothing short of insanity. “MALFUNCTION” thrives on tension and release, weaponizing distortion, warped synth stabs, and bone-crushing bass to keep listeners in a constant state of anticipation. The track builds with a mechanical precision before detonating into roaring drops that are glitchy and aggressive. HOL!’s signature brute-force collides seamlessly with Eptic’s playful yet menacing sound design. “MALFUNCTION” brings back the energy from another popular collaboration from the two, “Detonate.” It is yet another track bound to blow-out speakers and made for the mosh pits. “MALFUNCTION” doesn’t just hit hard, it rewires the system.
HOL! and Eptic simply know how to match each other’s energy. “MALFUNCTION” is a prime example of the chaos and heat that each of them bring individually and as a duo. Listen to “MALFUNCTION” to get ready for the mayhem that HOL! and Eptic will be bringing to the first ever System Overload Fest. Each will be performing a destructive set, HOL! will be performing on Friday, February 27th, and Eptic will perform on Saturday, February 28th, at Rawhide here in AZ. It is two back to back nights of pure dubstep and bass, get more info and grab your tickets here.
