Illenium’s ‘Odyssey’ Lands at No. 1 as He Prepares for Historic Sphere Residency

Illenium has officially entered his next chapter. The legendary producer released his sixth studio album, Odyssey, on February 6, and it didn’t take long for the project to make history. The album debuted at No. 1 on Billboard’s Top Dance Albums chart, marking his fourth career leader and tying him with artists like Marshmello and FKA Twigs for one of the most successful runs in the chart’s nearly 25-year history.

But, Odyssey is so much more than just another chart-topping release. Unlike his previous releases, this album was built from the ground up with a specific vision in mind, his upcoming nine-show residency at the Las Vegas Sphere, making him only the second electronic artist ever to headline the venue. Every sonic choice, every vocal collaboration, and every melody was designed to fill that massive, immersive space.

The 19-track journey moves fluidly through melodic bass, trance, house, and rock, all supported by Illenium’s signature emotional influence.
