YetepToday marks the arrival of something special. Melodic bass artist MitiS has officially released his new EP, Through The Dark, a six-track story that stands as one of the most emotionally raw projects of his career. Available everywhere now, the EP arrives on the heels of his recent single “Wilderness” and serves as a heartfelt tribute to his late father.
Written in the aftermath of a tragic loss, Through The Dark finds MitiS reconnecting with the instrument that started it all, the piano. Trained as a classical pianist growing up outside Philadelphia, he channels grief into something unexpectedly beautiful across these six tracks. Each song unfolds different emotions, balancing heartbreaking vulnerability with uplifting, therapeutic releases that longtime fans have come to treasure.
The EP features a notable lineup of vocal talent. Dia Frampton, whose voice was heard in iconic melodic bass anthems like Illenium’s “Needed You” and Adventure Club’s “High Like This,” lends her ethereal presence to the stunning “Awake.” Sara Benyo delivers raw emotion on the title track “Through The Dark,” while Lindsey Sweat shines on the nostalgic track “Take Me Back.” Katie Cecil returns on the recently released track “Wilderness,” and the project opens and closes with the instrumental beauty of “A Good Day” and “Both Of Us.”
To celebrate the release, MitiS is hosting a special EP release party tonight at Avalon Hollywood in Los Angeles, giving fans a chance to experience these deeply personal songs in a live setting.

Through The Dark is a reminder that even in our heaviest moments, there is light waiting on the other side. For the devoted MitiS Mob and new listeners alike, this one hits different.
