YetepIf you’re ready to liven up your Monday with some Latin-flavored bangers, look no further than this new release from DJ and producer Steve Aoki in his epic collaboration with Puerto-Rican artist Daddy Yankee, Grammy-Award winning singer Elvis Crespo, and Grammy-nominated producers Play-N-Skillz. With this all-star team of collaborators, this release is sure to be a success.
The track, called “Azukita,” is reminiscent of Aoki’s 2017 “Mi Gente” remix with Colombian Reggaeton singer J Balvin, his surprise Latin Grammy’s performance with J Balvin, French Montana, and Bad Bunny, and his “Despacito” remix. It’s clear Aoki is feeling the Latin influence, and we don’t hate what he’s doing with it.
The track is uptempo and fresh, an undeniable dance hit about the universal language of music bringing different cultures together for a good time. Daddy Yankee contributes his signature flow in his Spanish Lyrics while Elvis showcases his unique vocals. Aoki and Play-N-Skillz come together for next-level producing. Altogether, these talented artists blend together diverse backgrounds to produce a song that comes together seamlessly.
If you’re ready to hear more Steve Aoki, be sure to catch him on his Kolony North American tour at the Rialto Theatre in Tucson on March 7. Get your tickets and other info here.
