YetepSince we discovered Norway’s Hanne Mjoen at the start of the year, we have been hooked on her pop-leaning electronic beats. She released “Future” not long ago and now returns with “Vanilla” on Sailor Music.
“”Vanilla” is in many ways a synonym for something ordinary and boring”, Hanne explains, “So the song is really about wishing for more of what’s good and exciting.” It’s certainly a great offering; gentle blends of synths and drum builds wash together beneath her effortless tones.
