YetepThe future-bass legend Don Diablo is exploring the great unknown with his friends Emeli Sandé and Gucci Mane in his new music video for the banger “Survive.” The track which was released earlier this year has already hit just under 5 million streams on Spotify alone. “Survive” is packed with Diablo’s signature basslines that fans have fallen in love with. The vocal from Sandé and Gucci Mane take this track to another level. Combining harmonic dreamy vocals with a splash of hip-hop.
The music video compliments the song perfectly, like red wine to a fine cheese. Because of the energetic and lively style of the video, we are making it this week’s Watch it Wednesday.
Don Diablo – Survive feat. Emeli Sandé & Gucci Mane | Official Video
The three minutes and twelve seconds that make up this video is packed with futuristic technology and out-of-this-world CGI. The video follows Don Diablo on a space exhibition to a foreign planet, scanning the local atmosphere for signs of life. After receiving a hologram call from Emeli Sandé, she joins the Diablo on his mission. The duo is then accompanied by the animated golden astronaut Gucci Mane. The three continue to explore their way through a post-apocalyptic world. The music video was directed by Don Diablo himself.
Don Diablo has had a crazy successful and busy year. He released and re-released a deluxe edition of his highly praised album FUTURE. He also dropped a remix album, Reconstructions where Diablo remixes everything from popular dance music classics, to Ed Sheeran feelsey originals. The 38-year-old has also played some of the biggest festivals like Creamfields and Tomorrowland.
