Brasstracks Puts Us in a ‘Snowdaze’

NYC based production duo, Brasstracks, consist of Ivan Jackson and Conor Rayne, two highly talented instrumentalists who found each other in a Manhattan music school. Holding true to the testament that you do 99% of the learning outside of the classroom, the two dropped the books and studied the best way to intertwine the talents of each other. In the last 3 years, since the creation of Brasstracks, they have found their sound, success, and a shiny golden Grammy.

Blending live instruments into electronic production is nothing new to the scene, but the soul and lively essence that these two are able to create with their instruments is truly remarkable, so remarkable it caught the attention of none other than Chance The Rapper. Having asked them to work on his hit track, “No Problem” is one thing, but assisting in a Grammy win for Best Pop Performance is something Ivan and Conor never excepted. 2017 was a break out year for them and it’s been nothing but beast moves from Brasstracks since.

More recent wins have been their feel-good track “Snowdaze.” Highlighting stellar trumpet work and piano melodies that make you melt, this one will make it feel like holidays even when the decorations come down. Check it out below.

This one has us counting down the days till the boys are back in town. Brasstracks is taking over the Crescent Ballroom on February 21st on their Vibrant tour. Get on your dancing shoes and grab tickets here.
