YetepPhoenix native Ekonovah started his musical journey just a year ago and has hit the ground running ever since. In that short time, he’s performed across the country including stops in Las Vegas, Los Angeles, Salt Lake City and more. He’s played alongside Laidback Luke, Habstrakt, Drezo, and Ghastly and has had his music supported by the likes of Don Diablo, Ekali, and Porter Robinson. Now he’s making his major label debut on Steve Aoki’s own Dim Mak Records.
Out TODAY, Ekonovah’s “Wait A Minute” is a breath of fresh air. In just three and a half minutes he creates an atmospheric journey that takes the listener through genre-defying leaps and bounds.
Ekonovah is on a mission to influence the electronic music scene. Integrating melodic melodies into his danceable blend of house, tech house, and bass house, the 21-year-old has officially found his sound. His flips of Coldplay’s “Yellow” and Porter Robinson’s “Language” have seen over 100k streams collectively speaking to his infectious sound. We can’t wait to see what the rest of 2019 holds for the fast-rising star.
