YetepBits and Things, a new electronic music artists meet-up, will have its first edition on Saturday, January 26 at Bar Smith in Downtown Phoenix.
As the electronic music scene continues to grow even larger in Arizona, producers are making an effort to collaborate and share ideas and techniques in an open forum type of environment. This event, from 6-10 PM, will give participants the opportunity to network, take part in a live listening session and hear from a guest speaker. The speaker, Elaine Walker, teaches an Electronic Music course at Scottsdale Community College and will be speaking on “Microtonality: The Forgotten Dimension in Music”
A $5 donation at the door gets you in and enters you into a drawing to win an Akai Mini Keyboard. This event is 18+ to enter, 21+ to drink and is followed by an evening of deep/tech jams from local artists Dan Lunsford, Michelle Sparks and Juheun.
Saturday, January 26 from 6 – 10 PM
Bar Smith
130 E Washington Street, Phoenix
