YetepThe past few years have been pretty successful for Midwest rapper Trippie Redd. At just 19 years old, Trippie Redd released his first album, Life’s a Trip. Later that year, Trippie Redd released collaborations from Juice Wrld, Diplo, Lil Yachty, and Alison Wonderland and made an appearance at Hard Summer and Rolling Loud. Now, at age 20, Trippie Redd is getting ready to release his sophomore album, !, on August 9. To prepare us for this highly anticipated album, on July 24, Trippie Redd released the second single off !, “Mac 10” featuring Lil Baby and Lil Duke and it’s already a massive hit.
“Mac 10” starts off with some signature Wheezy horns and a trap melody that compliments each rapper’s voice perfectly. Trippie Redd fires off some insane lyrics that are blowing everyone’s minds and Lil Baby and Lil Duke add to the heat further. Trippie Redd, Lil Baby, and Lil Duke’s voices all work remarkably well together and each verse gives the listener yet another reason to love this iconic song. “Mac 10” already has over 4 million listens on Spotify and the Scarface-inspired music video recently passed 3 million views.
If you enjoyed “Mac 10”, you’re not going to want to miss Trippie Redd at Goldrush Festival on September 27th and 28th at Rawhide Western Town (tickets available here).
