YetepA few weeks after releasing his EP on Monstercat, sugar monster Slushii has already released a collaboration with future bass producer Kaivon. Slushii is well known with popular producers such as Marshmello, Ookay, Jauz, and many more. Known for his future bass and trap sounds, Slushii quickly gained popularity in the bass head community. Kaivon emulates the same artistic energy while also sending a message of rebirth through his music. “Sober” combines the two’s future bass and trap sounds into a perfectly powerful festival anthem.
“Sober” is a future bass house beat with powerful vocals and lyrics leaving you at the song’s mercy. The poignant lyrics “You will never let me leave you/ You make these nightmares come true” are filled with such relatable sorrow. This song can be interpreted in many ways, and I know it will resonate with you on some level. “Sober” comes ahead of Slushii’s new side project sapientsounds, which is an alias for him to release downtempo ambient music under. This alias is named after his successful 2016 song that is titled the same. These two make regular appearances to the valley so make sure you keep an eye out, and in the mean time you can check them out at the links below!
