YetepLane 8’s Brightest Lights album is finally right around the corner and we cannot be any more excited than we already are. The This Never Happened label boss has dropped four singles from the anticipated album so far and is back with a fifth masterpiece. “Yard Two Stone” is a melodic dream that follows the rest of the Brightest Lights project’s energy extremely well. You can listen to Lane 8’s marvelous new track below!
Starting off slow and gracefully, “Yard Two Stone” features vocals by Jens Kuross, which compliment Lane 8’s ambient, synth filled sound design incredibly well. The combination of the two feels like that perfect rainy day when you are sinking into the couch, covered in cozy blankets. “Yard Two Stone” is definitely the most lowkey single that Lane 8 has released from the album thus far, but we are loving it. The energy picks up a few minutes into the track, becoming vibrant and full of choppy percussion. That sound sticks around through the end, making this one a dynamic hit that can be played over and over and flow together seamlessly. Lane 8 proves he can do no wrong once again, we are looking forward to the Brightest Lights release on January 10th. If you are loving all of these beautiful singles, you will not want to miss out seeing Lane 8 on the Brightest Lights Tour hitting The Van Buren on March 14th; grab tickets here!
